E-mail Configuration

E-mail Using Outlook or other local E-mail Program:

The basic email configuration is this:

Email = [name]@[yourdomain].com
User = [name]@[yourdomain].com
Pass = (as provided)
Mail Servers (In/Out) = mail.[yourdomain].com

Note: DLS providers such as Earthlink, force the use of THEIR outbound server (ie outgoing.earthlink.net, or such), check in your area if any trouble.

MS Outlook has a wizard that with the above settings, you should be able to retrieve your email just fine. Other programs vary.

Note: it is not recommended to simply forward your email to other major providers such as Earthlink, Yahoo, AOL, SBC, and others, for reasons of security. However, most of these major providers offer the retrieval of remote POP3 email accounts if you have the username and passwd of that box. Inquire at their technical support contacts.

E-mail By Browser:

Also, you may use a browser and retrieve your email from anywhere by visiting
www.[yourdomain].com/webmail .
Enter your email address and password. Use the MAILBOX or other links available to retrieve or send email.
