[Important Note: Products are either a "SINGLE" item, meaning an
item unique unto itself, or grouped into a "MATRIX" item where the
item varies according to one or more "attributes" such as size, color,
etc., but does not vary in price. However, where an item varies in price by
its attribute (ie. A large shoe costs more than a small shoe), then these items
are entered as separate Single items or non-price varied Matrix items.]

1. Use a local program such as "Microsoft Paint" or "Photoshop",
   etc. to size your Product image(s) before they are uploaded. (Probably less
   than 300 pixels wide will be appropriate for Product images, but simply refresh
   the effected page to adjudicate best fit.)
   
   


2. Rename the image(s) using a simple name-it is strongly recommended to use
   only lower-case letters for all entries (ie "myphoto.jpg"). Please
   do NOT use special characters (ie. !@#$%^&*()_+) or spaces, nor begin
   the name with numerals (ie. "5myphoto.jpg").
   
   



3. Click the link for "Inventory Control Panel".
   
   


4. At the main panel, choose your task:




• Add a Product: Adds a product. Enter the PRODUCT ID (ie. "shoe001"),
  then click submit. This advances you to the "Modify Product" form
  where more information is entered. See below.
  
  



• Modify a Product: Enter the exact PRODUCT ID of the product to
  be modified (ie. "shoe001"), then click submit. This advances
  you to the "Modify Product" form where more information can be
  modified. See below.
  
  


• [Delete a Product]: Use the "Modify Product" form to
  delete a product. See below.
  
  


• List Products: Lists all products, or you may enter a part of a
  name to filter out all others except matching. Once products are listed,
  they can be modified from there.
  
  
  




5. Modify a Product:
   
   




• A product can be deleted from this form by the link at top.
  
  


• To modify a product, enter all relevant information into the fields as
  indicated, including Product name, Category, Sub-Category, mfg, color, size,
  full description, web description, price, etc.
  
  
  


• Attributes for a "Matrix" item are separated by comma (ie. "large,medium,small")
  
  


• A product photo can also be uploaded from this form, and a thumbnail can
  be made once a full-size photo is uploaded.
  
  




6. Refresh the page(s) in your browser to ensure the new image appears and
   fits properly.
