I’m always learning. For example, I recently found out I needed to better understand the term “Web 2.0”. I knew more about it than I had realized….which was ok, but at the challenge to learn more, I began to research the world of how Social Networking Website Interaction has grown. In the last 3 weeks I have been introduced to some very unique and stunning networking concepts. I have been on a few networking sites for several years, Linked In and My Space, but this ability to socially network has truly taken on new form and expansion. Amazing…..

My thought? With all this ability to network and expand ones contacts so, so quickly and reliably, how could a recession battle ever win??

For example, Twitter is centered around one question “What Are You Doing?”. You can follow what people are doing…….I just launched a new project, and guess who is following me?? All in one night! Obama. Is this for real? (probably just his PR guys.Lol!) But, It can grow quite fast, too and you can find out what people are doing who you have an interest in learning more about.

Being set up to launch:

One important point I would like to stress tho, is that although one can utilize these Networking Sites and set up wonderful free listings, it is best that one have their own website in order to communicate all about what one does and is trying to achieve, sell, etc. Then….you can use these resources to drive new business to your own brand and message. These one page sites or listings are not always stable and can be taken down by the site owner at their own discretion. So to keep you stable, get your own site up first, then promote like mad!
